Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the yoseph.dev website and any development services provided by Yoseph B. Gebremedhin (“we”, “us”). Project-specific terms agreed in a written proposal or contract take precedence where they differ.

1. Services

We provide web, e-commerce, and software development services. The exact scope, deliverables, and timeline for each engagement are defined in a written proposal or statement of work.

2. Quotes & payment

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Fixed-scope packages and milestones are billed as set out in the proposal; a deposit may be required to begin work.
  • Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. Late payment may pause work.
  • Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

3. Revisions & scope changes

The number of revisions included is stated per package. Work beyond the agreed scope is quoted and billed separately.

4. Intellectual property

On full payment, ownership of the final, custom-built deliverables transfers to you. We retain rights to our pre-existing tools, libraries, and know-how, and may showcase non-confidential work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

5. Third-party services

Projects may rely on third-party platforms (hosting, payments such as Stripe/Klarna, APIs). Their fees and terms are your responsibility and are not included unless stated.

6. Warranties & liability

We deliver services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

7. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only to perform the engagement.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and the courts of Sweden have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
